LETTER FROM THE RECRUITMENT CHAIR

To the future sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma,

One of the best days of my sophomore year was receiving a bid from Phi Sigma Sigma. I knew I was home the second I met the sisters.

We are so excited for you to feel how we felt when we first joined. The bonds you will create are unbreakable and the friendships last forever. You will open up so many doors and opportunities you didn’t even know you had. Being a part of this family will provide you with all the resources you will ever need.

To all of my current sisters, thank you for all you do. From being a shoulder to cry on, a personal photographer, study buddy, and so much more. You have shown me the true meaning of being a Phi Sigma Sigma sister. I will always be so grateful for each and every one of you.

To all my future sisters, I cannot wait to see all you accomplish while being a sister. I love you all already and wish you the best of luck.

Once a Phi Sigma Sigma, always a Phi Sigma Sigma.

“Phi Sigma Sigma is a place that I call home, a place where I can be myself. Being a sister has been the best part of my college experience. My favorite thing about being a part of Phi Sig is getting to spend time with my sisters. No matter what time of day it is, there is always someone to talk to. Since I have joined I have been able to meet so many people within my major. Phi Sigma Sigma will always be a part of me and I am forever grateful for that.”

“The biggest thing I think of when I hear Phi Sig is a bond between beautiful girls that you can always rely on. Throughout my experience thus far, I have gained self confidence as well as life long friendships. Alexis Gift recruited me and I decided to stay because all the girls of Phi Sig were so welcoming and it instantly felt like home. This next semester, I am so excited for homecoming and recruitment. I can’t wait to see everyone!”

“Being in Phi Sigma Sigma has provided me with a ton of leadership skills and positions. It has taught me to be responsible while also improving my communication skills which prepares me for the future. When I hear ‘Phi Sig’, I immediately think of unity. Our sisterhood has a strong and unbreakable bond and we all accept each other for who they are. I am most excited for recruitment next fall and to meet a new group of wonderful ladies. Phi Sigma Sigma has provided me with lifelong friendships I would not have found anywhere else and I am super grateful and happy that I joined.”

“Towards the end of the fall semester of my freshman year, I started to hear about sorority life and recruitment. I was very hesitant to go out at first because I was not sure if it was the right thing for me. I knew my mom had previously been in a sorority when she was in college. She would always tell me about these wonderful stories and moments she had made with her sisters and I decided to join. Joining Phi Sigma Sigma has truly changed my life in ways I never knew were possible. I have a group of girls who accept me for who I am and friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Phi Sig has allowed me to engage in community service, leadership opportunities, and networking. It is incredible how much a sorority can truly enrich your life.”
