MAKING AN IMPACT ON OUR CAMPUS & IN OUR COMMUNITY

Our philanthropy, the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, is centered around school and college readiness. We provide school supplies and resources to students in order to help them prepare and succeed in school.

Phi Sigma Sigma is well versed in community service. Our community service position is headed by a main chair in order to best plan and execute community service opportunities throughout the year. We, as a sorority, actively participate alone and with other organizations throughout the academic year.

EVENTS

We regularly engage the campus community in events that allow us to network with other organizations while getting to spend time with our sisters and raise money for our local and national philanthropic causes. One fun event we host is Phi K! We invite all of Greek Life and the town of Shippensburg to come walk or run a 5K. We also have the option of Walk A Mile In Her Shoes where you walk a 1K in high heels.

DONATIONS MADE

  • School Supplies to local schools
  • Donations to American Red Cross
  • Letters to Elders
  • Donations to clothing drives
  • Thousands of dollars to Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation

PARTICIPATION IN CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY PHILANTHROPY AND SERVICE

Outside of events for our philanthropic and service efforts, our sisters participate in many different campus and community philanthropy and service opportunities. We also support our fellow Greek organizations by participating in or donating to their philanthropic causes. Some of the events we have participated in are Phi K, Relay for Life, Blood Drive Donations, and so much more to help our community.
